Dr. Prem Alva is a renowned Paediatric Cardiologist in Mangalore, Karnataka. The doctor has over 21 years experience treating children.

He started his journey in paediatric cardiology in the year 2006 in Chennai where he trained at Madras Medical Mission a premier children’s cardiac hospital founded by Dr. K. M. Cherian who is considered the pioneer in surgical treatment of newborns with complex heart diseases in India. In 2009 he underwent further training in performing paediatric cardiac non-surgical interventions at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore. He worked as a faculty at Narayana Hrudayalaya before moving to Mangalore. It was his dream to offer quality care and non-surgical treatment in coastal Karnataka. He is a senior consultant paediatric cardiologist at A. J. Hospital & Research Centre, Mangalore.
